Christian Business
Networking
The New Testament is full of stories where the apostles encountered
opened or closed doors that either assisted or hindered them
in their ministry assignments (Acts 8:26-40, Acts 16:6-10, 1
Corinthians 16:9, 2 Corinthians 2:12). Similarly, open or closed
doors in the marketplace can often be the difference between
the success and failure of a business. Just as Paul needed
Barnabas to get him in front of the leaders of the early Church
that were suspicious of his conversion, we often need the “right
connections” to open doors to business leaders in the marketplace
who may be suspicious of our business offerings (Acts 9:26-31).
Sozo Services provides networking solutions to identify and
connect with other Christian business partners for joint venture
opportunities or sales. The Bible says that we are to prefer
one another (Romans 12:10). In addition to the trust factor,
a major problem with doing business with unbelievers is the spiritual
baggage and “open doors” that they frequently offer
the enemy into your business deals. Frequently, Christian businesses
are puzzled when their business deals are aborted, and realize
too late that their non-believing business associate provided
an open back door into the business opportunity. The intercessory
prayer coverage that we offer and have described above, can help
negate these open spiritual doors in situations when we must
deal with non-believers in the business marketplace.
Our team’s network of business contacts includes relationships
with leaders in industry, associations, non-profit organizations,
Christian media, Government, and spiritual leaders. Since
each business opportunity is unique and treated individually, we
do not believe in “name dropping,” nor promising open
doors with any particular networking relationship, but rather we
believe that the Holy Spirit will show us the who, how, and when
for each assignment.
